I am Kélian Lalloué, CEO of Hendy and host of the 10K Social Club podcast. I met Charlo through someone he had coached, and with whom I had a great connection. She said, "I think you should really contact Charlo. You both have the same energy, and he has really helped me a lot."

I considered myself a deep person. I knew I asked fairly deep questions and loved having deep conversations with all my friends. But I didn't take it very seriously. I was already in the midst of developing my business and the person I wanted to become.

I went from three thousand to ten thousand euros in monthly income. I hired other people. My business has grown a lot. Before, I was alone, just a freelance. And now, I have four people on my team, so it's too cool.

I have many projects.

I am much more confident about where I want to go.

I launched my podcast, and I'm super happy with it. Really, I'm really super happy!

What made me say yes is that I wanted a coach, and I had a great connection with Charlo.

And I also think it's a lot of progress on personal development, on the identity of who you really are.

You go much faster to determine who you are deep down.

And I think, really, even I underestimate the mistakes I could have made by knowing myself less thanks to Charlo. If I hadn't had Charlo, how much time could I have lost?

Coaching with Charlo is like gaining years, really.

I think I've recommended Charlo to at least five people. Well, I recommend him to a lot more of my friends, but I think at least five people have had calls with Charlo among my circle. So, I highly recommend him.

What advice would I give? It's crazy. It really allows you to take a shortcut in your life. It's great. It's full of love and all. But I would still give a little piece of advice. Let's say rather: a caution. Be aware that it necessarily involves change in life. I think to truly enjoy the experience, you have to be ready to commit.

And I also think the price is there for that. It's a high price, intentionally set so that we don't treat it like all those courses, "Well, I buy a course and then I never finish it."

No, the goal here is really to go for it. And that requires stepping a bit out of your comfort zone. It requires making changes in your life. These changes can sometimes be tough and necessary.

Just be aware that it can change a lot of things.

But I also think that at the same time, if you want to call on Charlo and you're wondering if you should, it's because deep down, you want this change.

What was happening in your life before your coaching with Charlo? What drove you to engage in this coaching?

The last 3 years I had a lot of time to work on myself, read a lot of books, talked with my wife and did a lot of journalling. I had a feeling that I've resolved a lot of my issues and grown a lot... until the moment arrived where our money was finally running out and I discovered that all the worries came right back into my life, keeping me awake in the middle of the night, walking around the room for hours. This is where I drew the line and decided I needed help.

How were you getting in your own way?

I didn't investigated my worries, I just tried to find things I could do to counter my worry. Instead of working with the worry, see where it came from and questioning whether it is still a valid worry.

What has changed forever ?

Now... after 6 months of coaching there is not a problem or fear I can't face myself, often I come to a session not knowing what to talk about (those are the best) and I end up still getting so much value.

The thing that has changed my life though, is the peace and joy I'm now experiencing every day; sleeping full nights, without a worry in the world.
Like a wise man has said: "you can't find me a cup of fear, it doesn't exist in this world, it is created"

What successes have you created as a man and in your professional life ?

A few months back I put a target salary for myself to reach within a few years. 
Now, we are earning this very salary as a couple. So "I'm not there yet" and yet "I am" :D
I also created an assignment with conditions that are working perfectly for us right now (full remote, flexible, lot of freedom).
I am committed to create a body of work and published my first article ever.
And I know many more cool things will still come.

What was holding you back from engaging in this coaching with Charlo before saying YES without hesitation? And what enabled you to commit?

The price tag and not knowing whether he was worth the money, but during our first few calls (before I committed) he was working already with me, going through my believes and fears on why this could be a bad investment. This gave me so much confidence that in the end I could not see myself stop working with this man. So I spoke to my wife and made the commitment. Luckily her parents could loan us some extra money, which we could easily repay after I found my new assignment.

What was happening in your life before your coaching with Charlo? What drove you to engage in this coaching?

Initially, I wasn't looking to do coaching at all. I discovered Charlo during a Crème de la Crème webinar. As I loved the webinar and Charlo's energy, I added him on LinkedIn. After getting to know each other and an introduction to coaching, starting a journey with Charlo was an obvious choice.

At that time, I was being supported in my personal life by a psychologist. I found it relevant to question my professional life. Moreover, my business had been running for three years. I thought it was the right time to take stock and reflect on these first years of being self-employed.

• I lacked self-confidence.

Each situation is different, but I'd like to make a comparison between coaching and a sport I like: running.

We learn to walk and run at a young age. But unless we're lucky enough to work with an athletics or running coach, we never really change our technique, our stride, etc.

That doesn't mean our technique is perfect. Quite the contrary.

And I can tell you from experience (marathon) that it's almost impossible to correct your running technique without the help of a coach. It's impossible because firstly, you need to know what you're doing wrong (good luck). And secondly, you need a third-person perspective to properly assess the movement and correct it.

Well, it's the same with coaching. Charlo is my third-person perspective. Thanks to his professional and personal experience and coaching, he is able to point out problems in my technique and help me correct them.

Despite a strong will to grow as a person, I felt stagnant. I had difficulty identifying the questions I needed to ask myself and the work I needed to do to move to the next level, both professionally and personally.

Do not take coaching if you expect solutions to your problems. Coaching provides tools, methods, and a vision to approach problems differently but does not provide solutions; you have to find them yourself.

I was a freelancer. Coming out of a romantic disappointment. I had in mind to develop a program to train and coach future freelancers in my field. I also wanted to structure my SEA agency and surround myself with a team to free up time.

I wasn't making radical decisions and I wasn't putting myself at the center of my decisions. I didn't really have a long-term vision or personal mission.

What has changed forever?

My mindset has clearly changed. I am more serene, I approach my work in a more mature, calmer way. I think more long-term. I'm learning to build and structure where before I was moving in a constant rush.

I put myself at the center of my decisions and I am making more and more radical decisions.

My agency is developing, I delegate and I am creating a coaching/support program. I am also a better person personally.I feel it.I work on myself.I can project myself and take a step back more easily.I lead a much more intentional life.

The question is complicated. At first, I expected operational results from this coaching. I did not expect results on myself. Yet it's the opposite. I didn't understand this when I committed. How were you getting in your own way?

I didn't take the time to clarify my thoughts or desires. I was shooting a bit blindly without really taking the time to aim. I had no method of working on myself. I was just acting without first questioning the "why" and what I deeply wanted.

What has changed forever is mainly a new way for me to approach my issues. I became aware of the power behind the concept of state of being (mindset), and also behind projecting myself, changing my posture, and my way of approaching my life. I create intentionally instead of just being busy.

Since the beginning of the coaching, I have signed 2 clients, including one high-end client. But I don't think that's the most important thing that this coaching has brought me. I have mainly changed my posture. It's primarily in the medium term that the coaching will bear fruit, I'm sure of it. Today I don't approach my missions in the same way, I am much more fully professional, confident, and efficient.

What held me back was the price. It's way beyond my means and represents a significant investment for me. Ultimately, what allowed me to commit was also the price. My name is Manuel Heurteux, an entrepreneur in EdTech and food.

Working with Charlo has been my largest and most valuable investment for my business.

Initially, I engaged Charlo to develop the site for ESFM, the first online Superior School specialized in Food Management.

I've known Charlo since 2014 when he taught a web-design course at ESSEC Business School which I attended. My concerns were about the site's technical aspects and my own legitimacy to achieve my goals and embody my founder CEO role.
